Terminator T-800 Life-Size Bust (click to enlarge)

Here’s another rare opportunity, probably the rarest one I’ve posted in a while.  It’s a chance to score a Terminator T-800 Life-Size Bust, based on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

These Terminator collectibles were manufactured by Sideshow Collectibles as a Limited Edition of 750, and all of them sold out way back in 2007.  One of the items, number 148 of the 750, is now up on Ebay for sale.  In fact, the one that is for sale on Ebay also sold, but the previous buyer didn’t commit forcing the seller to relist it.  So in a sense, this is a second chance opportunity on a now sold out and extremely hard to find Terminator collectible.

The Terminator T-800 Life Size Bust stands 21″ high and weighs 32lbs (14.51kg).

At the time of writing this post, the auction price is at US $1,050 with a BIN $1,550.  That’s a hefty markup from the original price of $549.99 but these items are rare so if you want one, that’s what you’ll have to pay.  The seller claims the item is in perfect condition, as new.

TX Terminator 1:1 Scale Head Bust, Limited Edition (click to enlarge)

Here’s another rare opportunity. The TX Terminator 1:1 Scale Head Bust, based on the TX Terminator in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, has long since sold out.  But here’s an opportunity to get one.

Affectionately known as the Terminatrix, this is a 100% faithful full-scale (aka life sized) replica of the TX Terminator head manufactured by Sideshow Collectibles in partnership with renowned character creator Stan Winston (the man responsible for realizing the original Terminator design).

It’ll cost you $1000 and although it’s not new, the seller advises that the bust has been on display away from sunlight in a non-smoking home and as such is in excellent condition.  These originally sold for $499, so its a hefty markup, but then you can’t get them anywhere else so it is, literally, a rare opportunity.  Serious Terminator collectors will see this as a great opportunity to add to their collection.

The replica has a high-quality black-chrome finish and is mounted on a sleek base with a TX name plate and the film title: ‘Rise of the Machines’.

The entire display lights up with the same eerie blue glow as the original, including the strobing (the animated gif on the right is from the original Sideshow advert), breathing effect of the lights seen in the film.

The overall height of the display is 15″ tall.

The only thing I haven’t been able to verify is how many of these were made, but it was definitely a Limited Edition that sold out and with 18 hours left on the eBay listing, it’s worth checking out if you’re a serious Terminator collector.

This is awesome!  Who doesn’t want a Life-Size Living Dead Zombie in their living room?

This is listed on eBay under original movie props although it appears to be associated with no specific movie.  Doesn’t matter though, it’s clearly a six foot high Zombie movie prop that is sure to get the visitors talking.

Starting bid is US $300 and at the time of posting this there have been zero bids with only 13 hours left in the auction.  Honestly it would be pretty mad to score a life-size zombie movie prop for only $300.

Sideshow’s Hellboy Life-Size Bust’s from Hellboy II: The Golden Army sold out a while back.  Now a second chance opportunity to score one of the Limited Edition 500 is available.

These capture a perfect likeness of Ron Pearlman as Hellboy and stand 26″ high (full-scale bust).

Each piece is hand-cast in high quality polystone, hand finished and hand numbered for authenticity.

Gandalf the Grey's cloak from 'The Lord of the Rings'

This is mighty expensive but a mighty awesome piece of movie collectible clothing – a made to order exact replica of Gandalf the Grey’s cloak from the original Lord of the Rings.

It is made by Stansborough, who provided the material for the original cloak for The Lord Of The Rings.  It took over 10 years to create the special wool breed of unique grey sheep known as the ‘Stansborough Grey’ and now they are the only kind in the world.  The ‘Stansborough Grey’ sheep wool is spun and then woven on 1890’s looms at the Stansborough Weaving Mill in Wellington.

Comes in three lengths, S, M and L with a 6-inch (15 cm) difference in length – the cloak pin in the image isn’t included.

Limited Edition Replica of Captain Kirk's original chair

Check out this perfect replica of Captain Kirk’s U.S.S. Enterprise Bridge chair as seen in the original Star Trek series.

It’s a Limited Edition of only 1701 pieces worldwide, but it isn’t selling out particularly fast.  Possibly that’s due to the hefty price tag of US $2,199.99, or perhaps it’s more due to the fact that it is a large, heavy collectible which in turn creates shipping restrictions and/or extra costs, or perhaps it’s a combination of both.

Still, it blows my mind and if it wasn’t so expensive I’d love to see this baby sitting in the theater room.  It’s certainly ideal as a centerpiece in any Star Trek collection.

It also (oddly) comes with a miniature replica complete with Captain Kirk figurine.

Wolverine's Jacket from the first 'X-Men' Movie

Before I say more, yes I’m aware this photo of Wolverine is from X-Men Origins: Wolverine and not the first X-Men movie.  After searching and not finding an image quick enough I decided it really didn’t matter too much.

To be clear, this collectible is modeled on Wolverine’s Jacket from X-Men and not the one in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  But it’s close nonetheless.

Now that we’ve cleared that up, this replica jacket is advertised as having been “extensively researched and replicated using only the finest authentic materials as worn in X-Men, the first movie of the blockbuster trilogy” and as “the only jacket replicating all details and approved by both Marvel and 20th Century Fox.”

The jacket is fully lined and made of heavy grade genuine leather with leather accents, then distressed by hand.  By “distressed by hand” they mean the jacket has been handcrafted to look worn, like its been through Wolverine’s battles.

Features heavy duty zippers and a custom X-Men sew in label and custom liner as well as certificate of authenticity.

As an added bonus, the jacket includes a real metal dog tag and chain that match the one worn in the film by Wolverine.

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army 'The Samaritan' Revolver Prop Replica

It wasn’t long ago that this 1:1 scale prop replica of ‘The Samaritan’, Hellboy’s famous pistol used in the film Hellboy II: The Golden Army, was sold out.

It’s another case of someone losing their deposit and a door of luck opening up for another fan.  All 850 limited edition pieces were gone until now.  I have no idea how many are presently available but I’m guessing you can count them on one hand – or maybe one finger. Either way, they’re about to be as rare as hens teeth so if you want one, don’t take your time as you’re sure to miss out.

This awesome Hellboy collectible is a limited edition gun replica hand crafted in dense metal with a high-grade polyurethane grip and authentic leather braid.
