This easily ranks as one of the best TV Show/Film collectibles I’ve seen in a while and I have no doubt that fans of Firefly and Serenity will want this bad.

Serenity – The Big Damn Replica is a prop replica from Quantum Mechanix based on the Firefly-Class transport ship “Serenity” from Joss Whedon’s TV Series Firefly and the film spinoff Serenity.

Serenity, has existed in all its glory in digital form only – until now. More than three years in the making, Serenity – The Big Damn Replica, has been painstakingly crafted to be absolutely screen-accurate in every aspect. Unlike most ships from science fiction, Serenity was designed from the ground up to be as realistic as possible, from her floor plan to her construction, using real-world components and manufacturing processes. Limited Edition Stargate SG-1 Goa'uld Death Glider (click to enlarge)

There aren’t nearly enough Stargate collectibles going around, so I’m pleased to see Quantum Mechanix are on the job (under license from MGM Studios) with this scaled replica Goa’uld Death Glider.

This is the second replica ship by Quantum Mechanix based on Stargate SG-1, the first being their F-302 Strategic Fighter – Interceptor Replica, and it’s the most detailed model of the Death Glider ever produced.

The wings span 8 inches and the model itsel fis hand-painted. The model also comes with a detailed diorama base that includes a miniature Stargate, DHD and stone circle.

The Goa’uld Death Glider is a Limited Edition piece of 1,500 individually-numbered replicas that come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Personally I think this is an absolute bargain at $99.99.

They’re not available until the 1st Qtr in 2010, but they can be pre-ordered now to ensure you don’t miss out.

Ryu Hayabusa Limited Edition statue from Ninja Gaiden 2

If you’re a fan of Ninja Gaiden it’s hard to look past this highly detailed Ryu Hayabusa 1:4 Scale Resin Statue from the video game Ninja Gaiden 2.

He comes equipped with his signature Dragon Sword, the Eclipse Scythe and a Falcon’s Talon.

He’s a perfect scaled replica at 25% of the character’s actual size, standing at 18-inches tall.  When you include his Eclipse Scythe, he stands at 31-inches tall (from the bottom of the base to the top of the scythe).

The Dr. Grordbort’s Unnatural Selector is the fourth ray gun in Weta’s Dr Grordbort’s range of miniature rayguns.  Designed by Greg Broadmore and modeled by David Tremont, this is another stunning piece for your collection.

The Unnatural Selector is Lord Cockswain’s weapon of choice.  At 1ft in length this replica, which made its first public appearance at the San Diego Comic-Con 2009, measures 1/4 the original weapons size.

Medicom Toy Corp Limited Edition Alien 12-Inch RAH Figure (click to enlarge)

This Medicom Toy Corporation 12-inch 1:6 scale RAH Alien figure is simply superb.

These outstanding action figures are of the highest quality and offer one of the most articulated 12-inch figure bodies available, capable of nearly any pose you can imagine.

This particular figure is a Limited Edition (I believe of 500, but don’t quote me on that).  Either way they aren’t easy to find.

These are a rare commodity.  They were recently sold out at Sideshow Collectibles, but someone didn’t follow through so now there’s a second chance opportunity going there.

If you want one, Sideshow is a good place to go right now for as long as the second chance opportunity lasts.  They have it available for $169.99 which, considering these Alien collectibles are going to be hard to get, is a good deal.

When Sideshow sell out (which you can count on shortly), you can try eBay.  At the moment there’s one on eBay for $179.99.

Limited Edition Easterling Miniature Shield LOTR Prop Replica (click to enlarge)

The Easterling Miniature Shield is a miniature version of the actual prop made by Weta for Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings.

The Easterlings were descendents of the Wild Men of the unknown east of Middle-Earth who had a fierce reputation.  In the movie The Lord of the Rings, the Easterlings were featured walking out of the Black Gates of Mordor.  In The Two Towers they almost stumble over Sam and Frodo.  In The Return of the King they take part in the Battle of the Pelennor Fields and the Siege of Minas Tirith.

The Easterling Miniature Shield is a Limited Edition piece of only 2000, made  by the same artists and craftsmen who made the original film prop.

The shield is made from metal and can be worn as a badge as well as displayed on the stand.

Weta are taking pre-orders now for shipping later in 2009.

Price is a bargain: NZD $52.44 (around US $35).

There’s a second chance opportunity going at Sideshow Collectibles on this absolutely awesome Hollywood Collectors Gallery 1:2 Scale Terminator T-800 Endoskeleton replica from the best Terminator movie, Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

A second chance opportunity means the collectible sold out but some unlucky bugger lost their deposit when they failed to pay the final balance.  Unlucky for them, lucky for someone else.

This piece is one of a Limited Edition of 500.

The Endoskeleton stands 3 feet tall (36″) and is made from a mixture of chromed metal, polystone, and other materials. It stands on top of an impressive skull littered display base, which incorporates built-in blue LED lights.  When activated, the eyes also glow with red light.

This is an exclusive to Sideshow Collectibles’ line of Avatar collectibles and has been created in conjunction with the film’s special effects studio Legacy Effects.

The AMP Suit Maquette is an authentic scaled representation of the battle mech in the film, modeled directly from 3D scans of the 14-foot suit that was used by Legacy during filming.
