Radio-controlled Voice Activated Supreme Dalek

Yes, this will always be one of my favorite Doctor Who collectibles.

It’s an 18-inch tall, radio-controlled voice activated Supreme Black Dalek!  If these were around when I was a kid I would have had an army of them guarding my room.  Yes, they have the ability to sense and react to movement and literally can be set up to guard your room!

Perhaps the coolest thing about this product is that Entertainment Earth have it listed at around 45% of its retail value.  It’s not a limited edition collectible so you don’t have to rush out, but then, at that price, maybe you do.

Star Wars Coolness: R2D2 Projection System (click to check it out)

As far as Star Wars collectibles go, this one is awesome – an Star Wars: R2D2 1:2 Scale Nikko DVD Player and Projection System.

He projects movies, has an integrated iPod dock, works with gaming consoles, plays CD’s and DVD’s, is fully motorized such that he can move in all directions, spin his head, arch forward and back, and everything he does can be controlled from a remote control Millennium Falcon. Seriously, I want one.

It’s listed in various places on Ebay with a Buy It Now price of $3,300, but I also found a secondhand one in mint condition with a starting bid of $2,500.  Links to both are below.  Naturally, with the second hand one be sure to take care as the seller is in Mexico with no prior items/feedback, but if handled properly, you could score this system for $800 less than the going price so it might be worth looking into.

Star Wars Interactive R2D2 Astromech Droid

I love looking at the coolest collectibles around, but I only spare my time to post about the really cool stuff – and the Star Wars R2D2 Interactive Astromech Droid certainly qualifies as super cool.

He’s a little smaller than the real (fictional) R2D2, but unlike the real R2D2 he actually obeys your every command (well, mostly).
