Here is Gill-Man, the creature from the Black Lagoon. Gill-Mans recent popularity coincides with the debut of Universal Studios live performance of The Creature from the Black Lagoon- The Musical. You have to check out the detail in this beauty, it looks like they just pulled him from the water in this life sized fiberglass bust statue. He measures  25.00″ H (635mm) x 14.00″ W (355.6mm) x 17.00″ L (431.8mm), this baby is also 30 lbs. He is going to set you back $454, but I think it is worth it. Terminator T-800 Life-Size Bust (click to enlarge)

Here’s another rare opportunity, probably the rarest one I’ve posted in a while.  It’s a chance to score a Terminator T-800 Life-Size Bust, based on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator from Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

These Terminator collectibles were manufactured by Sideshow Collectibles as a Limited Edition of 750, and all of them sold out way back in 2007.  One of the items, number 148 of the 750, is now up on Ebay for sale.  In fact, the one that is for sale on Ebay also sold, but the previous buyer didn’t commit forcing the seller to relist it.  So in a sense, this is a second chance opportunity on a now sold out and extremely hard to find Terminator collectible.

The Terminator T-800 Life Size Bust stands 21″ high and weighs 32lbs (14.51kg).

At the time of writing this post, the auction price is at US $1,050 with a BIN $1,550.  That’s a hefty markup from the original price of $549.99 but these items are rare so if you want one, that’s what you’ll have to pay.  The seller claims the item is in perfect condition, as new.

Terminator T-800 Life-Size Bust on Ebay

TX Terminator 1:1 Scale Head Bust, Limited Edition (click to enlarge)

Here’s another rare opportunity. The TX Terminator 1:1 Scale Head Bust, based on the TX Terminator in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, has long since sold out.  But here’s an opportunity to get one.

Affectionately known as the Terminatrix, this is a 100% faithful full-scale (aka life sized) replica of the TX Terminator head manufactured by Sideshow Collectibles in partnership with renowned character creator Stan Winston (the man responsible for realizing the original Terminator design).

It’ll cost you $1000 and although it’s not new, the seller advises that the bust has been on display away from sunlight in a non-smoking home and as such is in excellent condition.  These originally sold for $499, so its a hefty markup, but then you can’t get them anywhere else so it is, literally, a rare opportunity.  Serious Terminator collectors will see this as a great opportunity to add to their collection.

The replica has a high-quality black-chrome finish and is mounted on a sleek base with a TX name plate and the film title: ‘Rise of the Machines’.

The entire display lights up with the same eerie blue glow as the original, including the strobing (the animated gif on the right is from the original Sideshow advert), breathing effect of the lights seen in the film.

The overall height of the display is 15″ tall.

The only thing I haven’t been able to verify is how many of these were made, but it was definitely a Limited Edition that sold out and with 18 hours left on the eBay listing, it’s worth checking out if you’re a serious Terminator collector.

This is awesome!  Who doesn’t want a Life-Size Living Dead Zombie in their living room?

This is listed on eBay under original movie props although it appears to be associated with no specific movie.  Doesn’t matter though, it’s clearly a six foot high Zombie movie prop that is sure to get the visitors talking.

Starting bid is US $300 and at the time of posting this there have been zero bids with only 13 hours left in the auction.  Honestly it would be pretty mad to score a life-size zombie movie prop for only $300.

Dragon Killing Arrow used by Christian Bale in 'Reign of Fire' (click to enlarge)

This is the actual Dragon Killing Arrow used by Christian Bale in the finale of the film Reign of Fire.

User hoist73 has it up for sale on eBay at quite a price: $4,799.99, although he has made the ‘Make an Offer’ function available so you might be able to score it for less than the advertised price.

This unique movie collectible is advertised as being made of a solid resin painted red and black with yellow stripes.  It is heavily distressed to create the look that it’s from the futuristic, burned out London portrayed in Reign of Fire.

Measures around 19″ long and comes with a bespoke stainless steel wall mount.

Is also advertised as coming with the original Certificate of Authenticity that was provided direct from the Studio Outlet when the user purchased the original arrow prop.

Pretty expensive, but pretty cool to own this unique movie prop if money’s not an issue for you.

Check out this awesome looking Halo collectible – a full size Halo Helmet (size XL).

It’s advertised on eBay and at the time of posting this article there is just over one day left on the auction, so if you’re interested you’ll want to get a bid in pretty quick smart.

The seller is advertising it as a fully padded, industry/movie grade prop that is constructed from industrial resins/fiberglass, metal parts, professionally painted with high end auto paint (base coat and clear coat).

It looks awesome, sure to grab the attention of any Halo fan.

Limited Edition Hellboy Life-Size Bust

Sideshow’s Hellboy Life-Size Bust’s from Hellboy II: The Golden Army sold out a while back.  Now a second chance opportunity to score one of the Limited Edition 500 is available.

These capture a perfect likeness of Ron Pearlman as Hellboy and stand 26″ high (full-scale bust).

Each piece is hand-cast in high quality polystone, hand finished and hand numbered for authenticity.

Honestly, the pictures don’t do this Hellboy collectible justice.

Limited Edition Life-Size Bronze Statue of Gollum

I often refer to the collectibles I post here as “works of art” and no more does such a label apply than it does to this life-size statue of Gollum from Lord of the Rings. This is truly a work of art befitting not only a serious Lord of the Rings collection, but even an art gallery.

Bronze Gollum stands 3 ft 6 in; crouching on the rock, he reaches a height of approx 150 cm.  He stands at the exact same dimensions as Gollum in Peter Jackson’s films because this statue is sculptured by the same people who brought his image to the screen.

Now, he’s pure bronze so guess what, not everyone is going to be able to afford him at a price of NZD $23,810.00.

This unbelievable Lord of the Rings collector’s piece is also a very, very limited item.  Only 30 of them will be made, and those will be made specifically to order.  Until you pay your $3000 non-refundable deposit, your Bronze Gollum Statue doesn’t exist.

Once you order him you’ll also have to wait 6 months for delivery.  Since he’s made to order at such a high quality, you simply have to be patient.

Bronze Gollum comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Weta Creative Director Richard Taylor.

Of course, not everyone can afford a real bronze statue of Gollum, but if you’re taken by this statue for roughly a quarter of the price you can purchase a faux bronze looking fibreglass version.
